Fred Wellington - Event Director

Fred has been coaching and officiating basketball, football, and track and field from the park district to the semi-pro levels, since 1987. His passion for youth sports is what drives him to always find ways to help, guide, and support the athletes that have the same passion and those that do not. Since relocating to Florida, he was a Sports Director for former NBA player, Pat Burke’s HOOPs Sports and Training Program. He currently works as the Sports Director for a local community center and has his own youth training program, Wellington Sports Academy (WSA).
