Garrett is the current head coach at Fishers High School in Fishers, IN. Prior to Fishers High School, he spent three years as an assistant and one year as the head coach at Warren Central High School. During the three years he was an assistant, Warren Central went 76-6 and won one state championship. In his lone year there as head coach the program had a successful season going 18-6 and narrowly missed out on winning the sectional final.
